The objective for this project was to create a book cover with an image that is handmade. For this design, the image is made from a collage. The warm hue image of a school, and the blue flower both resemble an important symbol from the book. The main shape of the image is of a girl, which is also a very important detail of the book as most of the characters in the book are female. The background color of the book is chosen to compliment the flower. The book cover is designed to be compatible in paperback as well as hardcover.
